Is Sam’s Club open on New Year’s Day?

Do you need some facial issues but a regular-size box just isn’t enough? Time for Sam’s Club. Have you decided that you need at least several pallets of tuna? Time for Sam’s Club. Do you need not one, but three safes for the price of one and a half? Sam’s Club. Now, this may surprise you but I’m not a member of this establishment, so I’m not entirely sure what type of bulk items they sell, but I do know they sell whatever they have but in bulk.

Personally, I hope they have a line of Marvel-branded Hulk action figures with a minor manufacturing error where they’re all sad looking and all come with a miniature orange. Why? Because I want to buy a Hulk with pulp who sulks in bulk.

Thank you Ted Lasso for the inspiration for that line.

Jokes aside, Sam’s Club provides reasonable prices for bulk shopping and all you need is a $ 50-a-year membership. Sure, most other places don’t require any sort of membership just to spend money, but these bulk chains do.

So if you’re hoping to get 20 lbs of cheese from them on New Year’s Day, you’re going to want to know if they’re open.

Sadly for you, they are not. Sam’s Club is and usually will be, closed on New Year’s Day. They’re usually not open on holidays, and since New Year’s Day is a holiday (shocking, right?), Sam’s Club will be closed.

Are there any alternatives on New Year’s Day?

If you’re looking for an alternative to Sam’s Club on New Year’s Day, non-bulk shopping spaces, like Walmart and Target are open. So while you won’t be able to buy your usual quantities of items, you’ll at least be able to still get any supplies for the house that you may need.
