Roman numerals used to be very useful and even nice to look at! But now? Not so much! In fact, it can get a little confusing knowing how to count in Roman numerals. Ahead of the Big Game, Heinz wants to provide some clarity, and honestly, we couldn’t agree more.

Heinz shared that people express more frustration about Roman Numerals during the Big Game. To help us all out, the brand is launching “LVII Meanz 57” bottles — but they’ll need our help! Are you in? Here’s what to do.

Jan. 30 update: Since launching on Jan. 26, over 18,000 people have voted to call the Big Game by what it is (57) and leave LVII out of it. This is 74% of all entries (so far) , so we’re in the majority, folks!

Heinz wants the Roman numerals to be a thing of the past

Starting today (January 26) through February 12, Heinz is calling all Americans to vote to make Roman numerals ancient history. Go to www.LVIIMeanz57.com and vote either “Just say 57!” or “Stick with LVII” and submit your vote, that’s it! Something else you can do is share your thoughts on social media using the hashtag #LVIIMeanz57, let’s get it trending! And, of course, voters are  encouraged to follow @Heinz_ca on Instagram and @Heinz_us and @heinz_ca on TikTok to keep up with all things HEINZ.

But wait, there’s more! Heinz will award select participants with a limited-edition, commemorative ketchup bottle. And they’ve swapped out the 57 on its signature label for “LVII Meanz 57.” But hurry up and vote to participate because these will only be available while supplies last.

I love that Heinz is the one taking the lead in this campaign. After all, is there a Big Game party without a bottle (or three) of ketchup? I didn’t think so. In fact, there’s no party without ketchup, and Heinz is the best in the game.
