Chipotle launched a new menu item inspired by TikTok

Chipotle is at it yet again by adding a brand new item to their already delicious menu. It was inspired by Keith Lee and Alexis Frost, two popular content creators over on TikTok.

Not only did these two content creators help create a brand new menu item, but they also both have their own menu items that people can order as well! Chipotle is adding a Fajita Quesadilla to their menu, and there are already so many different versions of it that you can try, so stay tuned!

Will you be trying this brand new menu item over at Chipotle? If so, which one?

Starting today, on March 2nd, 2023, diners will be able to order a Fajita Quesadilla through the Chipotle mobile app or at Chipotle.com. Basically, this is allowing you to add in some fresh veggies to any quesadilla that you order (still an app/online exclusive only).

What was the inspiration that caused Chipotle to add this brand new menu item into their lineup, you may be asking? TikTok! Content creator, Alexis Frost (over on the TikTok app, of course) reviewed a Steak Quesadilla with Fajita Veggies added into it and gave it a 10/10, to which all of her 2.4 million followers watched her do. Enter in food critic, Keith Lee. He stitched Frost’s TikTok video and added in a hack where he combined the restaurant’s own Chipotle-Honey Vinaigrette dressing and sour cream, to which he also rated that a 10/10, which flooded the feeds of his nearly 10.7 million followers.

From those two videos, here are the TikTok digital stats:

• Over 30.6 million views, 3.7 million likes, 47,200 comments, and 69,500 shares

In addition to this brand new menu item, their ever-so-famous viniagrette will now be available as a side (dipping) option for all quesadilla orders.

• Barbacoa Quesadilla w/ Fajita Veggies
• Carnitas Quesadilla w/ Fajita Veggies

In addition, both Alexis Frost and Keith Lee have their very own menu items.

Here is Frost’s “Fajita Quesadilla Hack”:

• Fajita Quesadilla w/ Steak
• Sides: Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa, Tomatillo Red-Chili Salsa, and Sour Cream

Here is Lee’s “Keithadilla”:

• Fajita Quesadilla w/ Steak
• Sides: Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa, Sour Cream, and Chipotle-Honey Viniagrette

Both Lee and Frost are super excited to have their own menu items as this was something that they both never could’ve imagined to happen within their lives. All it was, was just one innocent TikTok review of their own creations/hacks and now look where it led them. Makes me wanna try and make my own creation blow up somewhere (maybe even at Chipotle)!

The Fajita Quesadillas, as well as both creators personal orders, will be available starting today, March 2nd, 2023 for purchase through any of their online options (or in-store if you get a nice employee willing to make it for you right then and there).
