A new month means new products appearing on the shelves at ALDI. With many people observing Lent this month, there are lots of new seafood items available. There are also lots of St. Patrick’s Day and Easter-themed holiday items as well as a large variety of snacks in stores this month. Be sure to check out all of these new March ALDI Finds.

Seafood Items
Those who observe Lent (now through April 6) do not eat meat on Fridays. Many will opt to enjoy fish and seafood dishes during this time and ALDI has plenty of them this month. Priano Seafood Linguine or Clam Spaghetti (3/1), Specially Selected Seafood Paella or Seafood Jambalaya (3/1) and Fremont Fish Market Beer Battered Fish Fillets (3/1) or Fremont Fish Market Beer Battered Shrimp (3/8) are all appetizing dinner options. I personally enjoy a good crab cake and think Fremont Fish Market Chilled Crab Cakes (3/1) can make both a great appetizer choice or, when put on a bun, a tasty sandwich.

Holiday Items
March 17th is the annual observance of St. Patrick’s Day. There are lots of March ALDI Finds that will help make your holiday celebration a fun and delicious one! ALDI has an assortment of Emporium Selection Irish Cheese (3/1) as well as Clancy’s Lucky Crunch Snack Mix (3/1) to set out as appetizers. Most people enjoy a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner on St. Patrick’s Day. ALDI has a Black Angus Premium Corned Beef Brisket (3/1). Be sure to pick up some L’oven Fresh Swirled Marble or Seeded Hearty Rye Bread (3/1) to make leftover corned beef sandwiches!

Which of these March ALDI Finds will you be buying?

You can end your celebration with Bake Shop Irish Cream Cheesecake (3/1) topped with Friendly Farms Irish Cream Whipped Dairy Topping (3/1) or a side of Sundae Shoppe Shamrockin’ Swirl or Luck o’ the Cookie Dough Ice Cream (3/1).

Although Easter isn’t taking place until Sunday, April 9th, ALDI has lots of holiday themed items in preparation. Enjoy some themed family fun by building a  Benton’s Easter Bunny House Kit (3/22). Making mac and cheese using Reggano Easter Shaped Pasta (3/29) is a fun twist on a holiday classic. Emporium Selection Easter Truckle assortment will make a great addition to a holiday charcuterie board. You can stock up on desserts now like Bake Shop Carrot Cake Sandwich Cookies (3/22), Bake Shop Double Layer Carrot Cake (3/22) and Benton’s Easter Cookies (3/22). Although, if I purchase these treats now, there’s no way they’d last until Easter!

Appetizers and Snacks
Appetizers and snacks are some of my favorite foods to buy at ALDI. It is not uncommon for my family to enjoy a dinner comprised entirely of appetizers. If you are watching March Madness, stock up on some of these snacks. Basketball watching and a mouthwatering appetizer spread make a perfect pair! This month ALDI has a ton of appetizers including Kirkwood Nashville Hot Dry Rub Wings (3/8), Appetitos Buffalo Chicken or Bacon Mac & Cheese Bites (3/8), Appetitos Loaded Potato Skins (3/8), Park Street Deli Pretzel Tray with Sweet or Savory Dip (3/8), Fusia Asian Inspirations Chicken or Beef Mandu (3/15), Journey To India Chicken Tikka or Vegetable Samosas (3/15), Casa Mamita Queso or Beef Stuffed Nachos (3/22) and a Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Macaroni & Cheese Deli Pizza (3/22). The hardest decision is which snacks to buy!
