Columbus, Ohio will be the latest American town to take place in some brand new fast food concept ideas. The latest is with the fast food joint that serves America’s favorite and only square burgers: Wendy’s! They will be testing a brand new AI Chatbot that will be able to take all of your drive-thru orders, requests, and everything else in between.

How do you think that Wendy’s brand new AI Chatbot will do in the drive-thrus?

This brand new AI Chatbot really has a name (it was named by Wendy’s themselves): “FreshAI“.

Next time you’re at a Columbus Wendy’s you just might so happen to be talking to a robot whenever you place your drive-thru orders. Next month, the fast food chain will be testing said artificial intelligence concept that actually still has the capability to talk with customers as well as taking their orders. The one thing that gets me though is will they be able to understand any sort of customizations that customers may have (such as no pickles, extra mayo, sub cheddar for Swiss cheeses, etc)? I’m not too sure about that, but who knows what this thing is capable of, am I right?!

Here’s what the company, Wendy’s, had to say from a recent press release review(s):

"“By leveraging generative AI, Wendy’s seeks to take the complexity out of the ordering process so employees can focus on serving up fast, fresh-made quality food and exceptional service.”"

Here’s what Google Cloud’s Chief (the company making said AI Chatbot), Thomas Kurian, had to say all about partnering with Wendy’s:

"“Generative AI is fundamentally changing how people interact with brands, and we anticipate Wendy’s integration of Google Cloud’s generative AI technology will set a new standard for great drive-thru experiences for the quick-service industry.”"

As of 2022, the Chatbot’s accuracy was reported at a 79%. Personally, that doesn’t sound so great to me. However, if you’re just a tad bit unfamiliar with Wendy’s and go to order a milkshake as opposed to saying that you want a classic Frosty, the brand new bots are trained to know the differences between the two.

McDonald’s just last year out somewhere in Texas actually tested a similar concept. The two are alike in many ways; they will both still be employing human workers in order to monitor said drive-thru experiences and make sure that all AI-related things are working correctly, properly, and accurately.

There are also reports that other fast food chains, such as Sonic and Popeyes will be testing something similar to these brand new AI ordering experiences!

More. Starbucks has teamed up with the Empire State Building for a really cool experience!!!!. light

That’s a wrap on Wendy’s brand new AI Chatbot concept being tested over in Columbus, Ohio!

What do you make of all of this? Will this concept rock or flop? You tell us! Let’s chat all about this and oh so much more down in the comments down below! And as always…….eat up, enjoy, and be safe, y’all! Yumm-oh!
