Is Costco open on Memorial Day 2023?

Memorial Day is here and while we have no idea where the time has gone it’s definitely the start of summer. And in honor of both the start of summer and Memorial Day weekend, you might be looking to buy items in bulk for your barbecues and get togethers. This might also mean a trip to your local Costco Wholesale is in order.

But, that also means trying to figure out whether or not the store is actually open. Because, while the bulk wholesaler is open most days of the year, there are a number of holidays that they actually close their doors for.

So the big question we have is whether or not Costco Wholesale will in fact be open on Memorial Day this year. And we have the answer thanks to the company’s store hours page.

Will Costco Wholesale be open on Memorial Day 2023?

According to the company’s website, there are seven days of the year that Costco Wholesale is actually closed. And unfortunately for those of us looking to stock up for their holiday barbecues and gatherings, Memorial Day is in fact one of the holidays that the bulk wholesaler is closed on.

This means that you either need to get all of that last minute shopping done on the Sunday before, which is May 28, or you’ll have to wait until Tuesday (the day after) to do that bulk shopping trip.

Of course, there are other places for us to shop at on Memorial Day this year. But if you were looking to buy everything in bulk and save, unfortunately, you’ll have to go somewhere else.
