Salted caramel cold brew: Carvel’s newest flavor mashup

As the outside temps slowly creep up, the demand for ice cream increases, as illustrated by the line of people waiting outside my local Carvel. For me, a trip to Carvel isn’t complete without a cone of soft serve. Of course, scooped ice cream is available too! Beginning June 5th, fans can enjoy their newest limited-time flavor release when Salted Caramel Cold Brew will be available at participating Carvel shops.
In a June 1st Instagram post, Carvel noted: “even espresso martinis are about to be jealous on Monday.” Carvel’s standalone cold brew coffee flavored ice cream debuted in 2019 and is still occasionally available in soft serve and hard scooped ice cream at participating shops. They previously offered a salted caramel flavor, but is unfortunately not showing as currently available on the Carvel website. Now we can finally enjoy the savory, salty, and sweet mashup of coffee and salted caramel, albeit for a limited time.
Carvel debuts the new salted caramel cold brew flavor just in time for summer!
A recent press release that was shared with Guilty Eats detailed all of the Carvel Salted Caramel Cold Brew offerings. Whether you enjoy soft serve like me, or prefer a milkshake or Flying Saucer®, Carvel has got you covered as there is literally something for everyone! Salted Caramel Cold Brew is offered in the following treats:
Soft Serve – Enjoy the new flavor in Carvel’s original soft serve version.
Scooped – The scooped version of salted caramel cold brew is combo of the soft serve mixed with caramel and gluten-free vanilla cookie crumbles.
Sundae Dasher® – The Sundae Dasher® has layers of soft serve, caramel and gluten-free vanilla cookie crumbles and is topped with whipped cream and additional cookie crumbles.
Shake – The soft serve in a hand-spun shake for you to sip through a straw.
Flying Saucer – Enjoy the new flavor sandwiched between two Flying Saucer® chocolate wafers.
Gluten-Free Vanilla Crumble (Cup of Toppings): You can purchase a cup of the gluten-free vanilla cookie crumbles to take home with you to enjoy on future treats!
