Cheerios: Honey Nut is the best flavor of Cheerios

When it comes to cereals on the market, there are a lot to choose from. But one of the classics has to be Cheerios from General Mills.

And considering Cheerios was first introduced in 1941, they have had plenty of time to perfect their cereal. On top of the Original cereal that so many of us know and love, there are also quite a few flavors in the line that make it easy to shake things up at breakfast time.

However, while there are around 20 different flavor varieties, there is one Cheerios flavor that reigns supreme. For us, the very best flavor has to be the Honey Nut Cheerios. Not only is the flavor iconic, but it is also a classic.

Not only are these perfect for snacking on dry, but once you add milk to the bowl it takes the cereal to a whole new level of deliciousness. And after trying quite a few flavors of this cereal, I definitely feel like this is the one flavor that can never be discontinued.

The honey flavor is delicate, but present in every bite. And then we have that nutty, oat flavor that acts as a perfect foil to the sweetness of the honey. Basically, the mix of flavors just works and the fact that it isn’t really an overly sweet cereal means that it works for everyone.

As an added bonus to how great the cereal itself is, I have to say that the leftover milk (or the cereal milk) is just as tasty as a final sip to end the bowl with.

In terms of a perfect bowl of cereal, Honey Nut Cheerios is definitely the best of the bunch. And we can only hope that this is one flavor that never gets the axe.
