Toted “Pasta Salad Summer,” this has been a massive foodie trend on TikTok. I don’t know about you, but this is one trend I can get behind. That’s why it’s so cool to see such a beloved brand giving us its own twist on it.

We’ll talk about that more in a minute, but this comes just before the 4th of July which to me is the ultimate summer holiday. Whether you’re grilling out, having a chill afternoon, or planning on swimming, everyone gets hungry and pasta salad is perfect for a hot summer day.

Usually, I wouldn’t start off with the recipe but the picture almost makes it look too good so I’ll get into that and then the suggestion Grey Poupon has for creating your own. In particular, this Red Pepper and Broccoli Macaroni Salad is a twist on a classic. You also cook the veggies with the macaroni for a few minutes which I think is a brilliant idea.

After everything is nice and cool, all you have to do is add your Grey Poupon mustard, sour cream, and mayo along with hardboiled eggs. From there, you essentially mix everything together and put it in the fridge until ready to serve. That’s an abridged version but you can find the full recipe on the website.

Aside from the amazing recipe shared by Grey Poupon, their culinary expert took a deep dive into Pasta Salad Summer including a fool-proof method for those looking to join in the trend but not sure where to begin.

I wouldn’t have ever thought about that so I’m really happy Grey Poupon pointed that out.
