Is Costco open on the Fourth of July 2023?

Are you looking to stock up on a ton of supplies for a Fourth of July gathering? Do you need Costco quantities of hot dogs, hamburgers and more?

When it comes to stocking up for holiday gatherings, Costco is definitely one of our go to stores for a lot of reasons. Not only can we save money by shopping with the big box retailer, but we can also get everything we need in bulk. It is truly a win-win for shopping.

However, just because Costco might be our go to for bulk shopping, that doesn’t always mean that we can actually head to the store. Sometimes, they close their doors. And we want to know if the Fourth of July is one of the days when the retailer closes for the day.

Will Costco be open on the Fourth of July 2023?

Unfortunately for any last minute shoppers looking to snag all the meats, paper supplies, and party decor they need in bulk, Costco will not be open on Tuesday, July 4. According to their Customer Service page, this is one of seven holidays that they are actually closed for.

What does this mean for last minute shoppers? It means you need to head to a regular grocery store to shop for those holiday supplies. However, if you happen to be looking for store hours ahead of time, then you are in luck and you will know to head on over on July 3 to stock up on all the hot dogs, hamburgers, ketchup, and mustard you might need for those Independence Day gatherings.

While we aren’t surprised that Costco is  going to be closed on the Fourth of July, it definitely means doing a bit more planning when it comes to snagging all the supplies we need for those cookouts and gatherings.
