One of the biggest fads going through the world of food is the concept of hot honey. Whether it be on fried chicken or just about anything else, the idea of “sweet heat” continues to gain fans. And apparently one of those fans is Pizza Hut.

Pizza Hut is known to try putting just about anything on their pizza. I mean, remember the “shudder” Pickle Pizza they added to their menu in the New York area last month? So adding hot honey to their already popular pizza seems like a no brainer.

Which is why is should be shocking to discover that yes, Pizza Hut is indeed testing a new Hot Honey Pizza and Hot Honey Wings in two locations starting this week. If you live in the Dallas. TX or Cleveland, OH areas, get ready for some sweet heat.

Hot Honey Pizza and Wings will be available at Pizza Hut until supplies run out.

So what is a Hot Honey Pizza? Take a classic Pizza Hut pizza with the iconic crust and topped with marinara sauce as well as loads of cheese, then add some pepperoni. Once you have that, drizzle on a healthy portion of their signature Hot Honey which is made with real honey that has been infused with chili peppers.

If you’re more into wings, they have you covered as well. You can get them bone-in or boneless but either way they are coated with that same Pizza Hut Hot Honey sauce and then, just to make sure, they are dipped again.

The Hot Honey Pizza will set you back $11.99 while an order of six of the Hot Honey Wings will cost $5.99. So if you live in either of the two areas they are being tested, enjoy some sweet heat while it lasts. Will the rest of us get to try one someday? We can only hope.
