Costco’s iconic pumpkin pie has returned to the bakery section

Is there anything better than a slice of pie in the Fall? How about a slice of the Costco pumpkin pie? When it comes to iconic and frankly oversized baked goods, Costco has us covered.

Not only do they have plenty of cakes, cookies, danishes, and muffins, but they also offer some delicious pies. And now that Fall is basically upon us, there are two flavors of pie that we are truly excited for: The Pumpkin Pie and The Apple Pie.

On September 1, we made a Costco run for no other reason than we wanted to see what they had in store now that it was officially the back to school season. And we were lucky enough to stumble across both the apple and the pumpkin pies in our local wholesaler.

The pumpkin pie is back at Costco for the Fall

But it sounds like we are not alone in spotting the iconic pumpkin pie, as Mashed is also reporting the return of the pumpkin. While apple has been around for a while now, it is definitely the pumpkin that people will likely want to be on the hunt for.

Honestly, these pies are huge and that is exactly what we expect from Costco and their bakery. We want oversized pies that can easily feed an entire dinner party. Considering these pies measure out to about 12 inches, it makes sense that they would be a dinner party favorite. It also helps that this particular pie is truly delicious as well.

While we have yet to give the apple pie a try, we know the bakery knows what they are doing with those pumpkin pies. And we were definitely excited to already see them in store.

Of course, locations vary and while we may have already found them in store, that doesn’t necessarily mean your store will have them just yet. However, we expect them to start rolling out in full as we get deeper into September, after all, we are still at the very start of the month.
