It’s back to school season, which means Labor Day is upon us. And if you need to do some bulk shopping, weather, for school, work, your normal groceries, or even a Labor Day party, Costco is the perfect place to get everything you may need.

When it comes to buying in bulk, Costco is our destination of choice. We love trying out some of the new things that we find there, and we also love the fact that we can stock up and save. And if you’re anything like us, you also love sampling on your walk around the store.

We have definitely found a lot of new favorites just from the sampling stations. For Labor Day and back to school, buying in bulk makes perfect sense.

However, there are a number of holidays that Costco observed. This means, we need to know whether or not they will be open on Labor Day 2023.

Will Costco be open on Labor Day 2023?

Considering Costco is closed for seven major holidays, we wanted to double check whether or not they would be open on September 4. Unfortunately, according to their customer service page, Costco is closed on Labor Day.

While we can do our shopping on Sunday, September 3, there will be no shopping on Labor Day itself. This means you either need to stock up early, or you will need to visit another store. For anyone looking to do bulk shopping, this could be a bit of a disappointment. However, there are other options.

As fans of Costco, I know that we will have to do our shopping either the day before or the day after to get what we need.
