Friendly’s x Jonas Brothers is the ultimate ice cream collaboration
Friendly’s is one of those restaurants where you can get a bit of everything and that’s exactly how I feel about the Jonas Brothers.
No matter what you’re looking for, either Friendly’s or the Jonas Brothers can cater to you which is why this collaboration makes sense. Since the band is currently on tour, it makes sense for them to have special sundaes for themselves and their fans to chow down on.
Whether you’ve been a fan since 2005 or just within the last year, these new sundaes representing each brother are everything I’ve always wanted and more. You can enjoy these through December 9th and the restaurant is even hosting a giveaway for fans who are attending The Tour this fall.
If you’re still feeling the heat in December, then you’ll want to try out these 3 new options for sundaes. Maybe you’ll go with your favorite Jonas Brother or try something new but let’s get into the different options.
The Jonas Brothers x Friendly’s want you to scream for ice cream!
As a Jonas Brothers fan, I have a lot of thoughts on these sundaes so let’s get into the sweepstakes first. As shared by Friendly’s: ” Join the Friendly’s Fan Club to get exclusive news about THE TOUR concert sweepstakes, where one lucky fan will have a chance to win two tickets to the final tour stop in Brooklyn, New York, including airfare and hotel for the winner and a plus one. Select attendees of THE TOUR, at two unannounced stops, will also receive a coupon booklet good for a free Friendly’s Fribble a week for a year.” That sounds like a pretty great deal for those who are fans of both Friendly’s and the Jonas Brothers.
Let’s start with Nick’s Sundae which: “…includes Friendly’s Vanilla Fat-Free Frozen Yogurt, Reese’s Pieces, bananas and a generous drizzle of Friendly’s Famous Peanut Butter Sauce and whipped cream.” When it comes to what’s in a sundae, this feels like a sundae for Nick. I’m sure we all know about him having diabetes and being more on the health-conscious side. With that being said, this one makes a lot of sense.
Moving on to the Kevin Sundae, “Guests will love scoops of Friendly’s Chocolate, Butter Crunch and Forbidden Chocolate ice cream topped with caramel, hot fudge and whipped cream. Kevin recommends adding an extra layer of crushed sugar cone with a cherry on top for that little something extra.” First of all, I did not see this coming from Kevin Jonas but as a dad for the longest, he’s probably used to sharing. Ultimately, this one is for those who love chocolate and it’s clear Kevin does.
Last but not least, we’ve got to talk about Joe Jonas. Joe is my favorite of the Jonas Brothers so I had to save him for last. Plus let’s be real: Joe’s sundae just looks like something he’d love and it just makes sense. Joe’s sundae is wild, to say the least: ” It starts with three scoops of Friendly’s Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate ice cream sitting on a delicious spread of hot fudge and topped with crushed Oreos, M&M’s, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, whipped cream and cherries.” Okay so I don’t see the Mint Chocolate Chip but other than that, I’m on board.
Then again, the Jonas Brothers throw their name on something and I’m willing to throw my wallet at them so maybe I’m not the best judge of these. Either way, I think this is such a fun idea and it’s clear the restaurant means a lot to them. There’s a quote from Kevin that brings everything full circle: “Fun fact: We decided on the band’s name at our local Friendly’s back in 2005 while chowing down on Monster Mash sundaes.” As you can see, Friendly’s and the Jonas Brothers have gone hand-in-hand from the very beginning.
What do you think of this new collaboration between Friendly’s and the Jonas Brothers? Did their sundae picks surprise you? Let us know in the comments!
