Lunchables are a staple during back-to-school and frankly, the entire school year. That’s why it’s awesome to see the beloved company branching out.
Recently, Lunchables introduced a fruit option and now, they’re headed into uncharted territory and that’s sandwiches. The brand already does have a sub-option but this is something brand-new and I won’t wait anymore.
Lunchables is introducing Grilled Cheesies and I can hear the screaming already from kids and parents alike. I mean I know grilled cheese sandwiches aren’t the hardest meal to make but sometimes, you just want something simple and quick.
That’s where this new Lunchables Grilled Cheesies come in as they’re headed to store shelves soon.
Lunchables adds Grilled Cheesies to its already iconic lineup for 2023.
Let’s start with the sad news which is that these aren’t rolling out nationwide just yet. Grilled Cheesies will be rolling out to select stores in the Midwest and Southern US. Eventually, these are poised to roll out nationwide in early 2024. Until then though, you’ll just have to hope you’ve got a stroke of luck and can find them.
With a suggested retail price of $4.99, you’ll get 2 sandwiches and there are also two varieties to choose from. First up is the classic or the Original which is just two pieces of bread and Kraft singles. I mean you can’t enjoy a grilled cheese if it’s not Kraft Singles, am I right?
The other variety is a take on a classic Lunchable and that’s Pepperoni Pizza. For this one, you’ll get the same Kraft singles along with marinara sauce and pepperoni to finish it off. It’s essentially a pepperoni pizza lunchable in sandwich form. Sounds pretty tasty.
The best part of these new Grilled Cheesies is that they only take 60 seconds to cook and then you can enjoy a melty and crispy sandwich. I think that if you’re in a rush, these are going to be a great option or are something kids could put in the microwave themselves. Either way, I’d love to know what you think of this latest innovation from Lunchables.
Will you be grabbing a Grilled Cheesies if you’re in the Midwest or South? If not, do you think you’ll give them a try in 2024? Let us know, Guilty Eaters!
