Miller Lite x J.J. Watt roll out a fun new campaign for 2023

When it comes to NFL players, some guys are just likable and that’s how most people feel about J.J. Watt. Since he’s now retired, Watt can promote alcohol including Miller Lite.

If you didn’t know, active NFL players are not allowed to actively endorse beer but now that he’s retired, Watt is allowed to go wild. If anything, Miller Lite and J.J. Watt are hoping that a lot of NFL fans are going to go wild for this campaign.

As shared by the brand, there is a new ad featuring Watt with a nod to his iconic number and a look at the sweepstakes being hosted by the two. Frankly, I feel like the video is a lot of fun and a nod to the iconic drinking song we’re all familiar with.

Whether you’re a fan of Miller Lite or J.J. Watt, there is no denying just how fun the clip is and the chance at winning all that beer.

Essentially, Watt and Miller Lite are going to be giving away 99 cases of beer to 99 different people and a signed J.J. Watt jersey. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal and you can find all of the details on Miller Lite’s website. You can also expect the campaign ad to begin airing on September 18th which makes sense as that’s Monday Night Football time.

This is just the beginning of the plans Miller Lite has with Watt and the NFL in general. The brand teased that they’re going to be introducing some team-specific packaging for 16 of the 32 NFL teams. I’m curious to see which ones will cut along with a Fantasy Football partnership so we’ll see how that goes.

Even if you’re not big on beer, it’s J.J. Watt for goodness sakes. He’s one of those guys who seems so genuine and friendly so you don’t want to leave him wifeless and with 99 cases of beer. He’s already surrounded by the #99 everywhere he goes so just do the man a favor and get some beer off his hands.
