Within the fast food industry, certain menu items come and go; for some of those particular products, it may be because of lack of sales, while others are surely for marketing purposes. However it may be, there are definitely some menu items that get discontinued that make us super sad and wish upon a star that they’d come back. Taco Bell is no exception.

Some of their discontinued menu items are their most delicious creations ever. Let’s talk about the top three (if it’s even possible to only choose that many) menu items from T-Bell that no longer exist (for now)!

Which discontinued menu items from Taco Bell have been your ultimate favorite?

In no particular order, here are Taco Bell’s top 3 discontinued menu items that we want back:

1. Naked Chicken Chalupa

Last Seen: 2019

This is my favorite menu item to ever come from Taco Bell. It was such a genius idea and it was literally executed perfectly. I really don’t think that I’ve ever met a fast food item that I’ve even enjoyed just looking at more than this one right here. In case you’re unfamiliar, this was Taco Bell’s first shell-less taco using some delicious and light crispy fried chicken as the tortilla. It also contained fresh lettuce and tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, as well as their classic and super yummy, avocado ranch.

Personally, Taco Bell, if you bring anything back, please (I’m legit begging) let it be this!

2. Quesarito

Last Seen: 2023

I was super surprised when I heard that Taco Bell was getting away with totally eliminating this item from their menus. It combined two delicious T-Bell favorites: a burrito and a quesadilla. Here’s how the website describes it: “…filled with seasoned beef, premium Latin rice, Chipotle sauce, and reduced-fat sour cream, and then wrapped up in a grilled quesadilla loaded with melted cheeses”. This was super melty, super creamy, and surprisingly, perfect for sharing too!

3. Loaded Potato Griller

Last Seen: 2020

Yes, I am totally sad that this isn’t an official menu item anymore, but if you were obsessed with these much like I was, and definitely still am, I have the perfect way to order one!

Here’s how to do it:

  • Start by ordering a Bean Burrito
    • Remove the diced onions and red sauce
    • Keeping the beans in is optional (I order it sometimes with and sometimes without)
  • To this add:
    • Potatoes
    • Extra Nacho Cheese
    • Extra Sour Cream

And there ya have it, folks! Your very own Loaded Potato Griller (also perfect to make at home)!

More. Taco Bell ditches more fan favorites, adds filler items as replacements. light

I know, that was a lot; it was also kind of sad too, knowing that these things are no longer on the menus over at Taco Bell. Never say never, though! What’s been your personal favorite all-time T-Bell menu item that just simply doesn’t exist anymore? Is there still away around it to order one? How about some of your favorite make-at-home copycats?
