If there is one thing we can count on from Starbucks, it is that they go hard with their Fall flavors. It is Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) season after all.

For the 2023 PSL season, Starbucks dropped a new drink (Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte) and a new baked treat (Baked Apple Croissant) for us all to enjoy. We tried both of these new menu items and enjoyed the flavor of both. In fact, the Baked Apple Croissant was a hit for us.

However, it seems like the Baked Apple Croissant was such a big hit that it is now out of stock. According to a post from foodie influencer markie-devo on Instagram, this baked good will be “fully out of stock now/mid-Oct.”

Considering we haven’t been able to get one since we actually tried it on September 8 from any of the local Starbucks locations, this news is actually not that surprising.

The Starbucks Baked Apple Croissant is out of stock and it may be for good!

So what else did markie-devo have to say about this news? Apparently, “the new bakery item has sold so well that the distro centers are experiencing outages. The item is expected to be fully discontinued any day now.”

For us, this is extremely sad news. We really enjoyed this croissant offering (it’s why we have been trying to order them again ever since that first taste test!).

I really hope that Starbucks is able to bring these croissants back and that they don’t end up discontinued as they are a great addition to the Fall menu. And clearly we are not alone in feeling this way since it is out of stock at so many locations.

We will have to wait to see what happens next with this baked treat. Hopefully, they are able to get more stock into stores.

What do you say fellow Starbucks fans? Are you surprised that the Baked Apple Croissant is sold out at so many locations? Did you get a chance to try this treat? If you did, what did you think?
