Arby’s has the meats. Normally there is nothing more that has to be said. Arby’s has always talked almost to the point of nausea about the fact they have the meats and have spent a lot of money to reinforce that knowledge among their fans.

And it has never just been the meats you automatically think of when you think of Arby’s. Yes, their Roast Beef Sandwich is a fast food icon that no other chain can match. But over the last few years they have gotten into all forms of meats, including wings.

But what are fans supposed to think when Arby’s, known for the meats, adds a new menu item where meat is nowhere to be found? Can we trust that a restaurant known for the meats can also perfect something as popular as, say, macaroni and cheese?

Arby’s Fried Mac N’ Cheese Bites are available nationwide for a limited time.

That is exactly what Arby’s is trying to do with their just announced menu item. Say hello to their brand new side order, Fried Mac N’ Cheese Bites.

Macaroni and cheese has been a classic comfort item forever and Arby’s wants to evoke those same feelings with their Fried Mac N’ Cheese Bites. They include a mix of four cheeses and noodles that have been breaded and then deep fried to perfection.

And while they don’t include any of Arby’s famous meats, they should get a great reception from fans looking for something new instead of Curley Fries.

Word is that while prices vary, an order of the Fried Mac N’ Cheese Bites will set you back $4.49 for a four piece order. There is no word if the chain is planning to include them in one of their value combo meals at this point but they are now available nationwide for a limited time.
