Halloween Cookie Challenge season 2 was back with episode 6. This week, the cookies were truly spectacular. The challenges had the bakers making slice-and-bake cookies and 3D mirror cookies. And while there were definitely some problems for the bakers, the results looked really cool. Let’s start with the first challenge.

The bakers had to make their own slice-and-bake cookies. Sounds easy, right? Well, when the cookie dough was sliced, a clear picture had to be in the middle of the cookie. Yeah…not so easy.

The bakers had pumpkins, a haunted house, and…maggots in the middle of their cookies. Most of the cookies turned out well, but some pictures were clearer than others. And unfortunately, Melinda’s cookie, which was a  pumpkin, moon, and bat cookie, was not completely baked. She was the one to go home.

But before we get to the next challenge, can we talk about Nigel putting mushroom powder in his cookies?! How would you even know to do that? It tasted good, but just the idea of that sounds not great.

Okay, on to the final challenge! This time, the bakers had to make 3D mirror cookies. They had to have a mirror with a cookie frame and a 3D edible object coming out of the cookie. These were truly extraordinary. Elizabeth had a creepy doll coming out of her mirror, Nigel had a beastly tongue coming out of his, and Susan had an eyeball crashing through her mirror.

And once again, Nigel’s flavors were weird. He made a chicken skin cookie and a corn chip and kale salad cookie. The judges liked them, but again…how did he come up with this in the first place?!

While all the final cookies looked and tasted good, it was clear from the judges’ comments who was going to win. It was Elizabeth! Her creepy doll cookie looked like it could have been a prop from a horror movie, and her flavors were on point. She won the $10,000!
