Shake Shack will give out free chicken sandwiches with a catch

Shake Shack posed a fun challenge to all NFL players and it has major consequences for those who want a freebie.

The brand shared that they’ll be giving away free chicken sandwiches if an NFL player decides to do the chicken dance as an endzone celebration. Fans will rejoice if they do as they can grab free Chicken Shacks that day through Sunday, November 19th.

The news was already shared by ESPN reporter Adam Schefter so there’s no doubt a lot of NFL fans and players haven’t heard of this. However, if you’re looking for a reason to watch or are focused on watching as a foodie, you might end up having an even better day than the player who got the touchdown.

Whether you’re new to trying a Shake Shack chicken sandwich or not, we’ll all hopefully get a chance to grab one to start off next week.

Shake Shack urges NFL players to do the chicken dance for free sandwiches.

As someone who has been to Shake Shack a handful of times, I have admittedly never had one of the chicken sandwiches. Then again, this is a two-fold win for all of us. Firstly, we all get the chance at this exciting freebie. I mean who doesn’t love the possibility of getting a free chicken sandwich?!

Second, we’ll get to see some fun NFL players do the chicken dance. Ultimately, I feel like touchdown dances are a huge part of the game so seeing someone do the chicken dance will be hilarious. Thankfully, there are plenty of games to enjoy on Sunday so there is a lot of opportunity for everyone to be able to get a free chicken sandwich.

Known as the Shake Shack Chicken Shack, you can enjoy crispy white-meat chicken over lettuce, pickles and herb mayo. It’s also sandwiched between a potato bun. Honestly, what’s not to love about that?! Plus they’re open on Sundays so whether you’re grabbing something after the game or are headed on Monday for lunch, you’ll be able to give the chicken shack a try.
