Last year around this time we here at Guilty Eats reported that Eggo Waffles, those frozen breakfast delights that can be found in almost everyone’s freezer, were getting into the Christmas Spirits game. And of course, the spirit in question was egg nog.

Because with a name like theirs, you really don’t have a heck of a lot of options.

The result was Eggo Nog, or if you use the full name, Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin’ Cream. It was a collaboration with the fine folks at Sugarlands Distilling Co. in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and it featured a rum-based liqueur with cinnamon and nutmeg flavors.

Word was that is was the perfect compliment for your waffles in the morning, but we’re really not sure how much we believe that. Regardless, the new Christmas spirit proved to be a huge hit, so much so that it sold out almost overnight.

Which is why they have announced that yes indeed, the new nog on the block is back for the 2023 Christmas Season.

Eggo Nog will only be available for sale this holiday season for a very limited time.

You read that right. Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin’ Cream is making a return for the holidays this year. And the folks at Sugarland and Eggo have apparently not changed a thing about it. And when something is a that huge of a hit, why would you?

Now, it needs to be said that they are expecting another season of brisk sales, and word is that sellouts are already happening in some parts of the country. So it’s recommended that you call your local adult beverage center before you make the trek there.

Additionally, it is also available at Sugerlands.com/EggoNog but again, it’s subject to availability. This is a long way of saying that if you want to try this unique twist on a Christmas classic, you better act fast and get some.
