Arby’s in Canada brings back the Arbynator
By D. Goodman
Yet again, the United States is getting the short end of the metaphorical stick and we have to watch as a popular fast food chain, in this case Arby’s, releases a sandwich in another country that would be a sure fire hit if it was available here.
It was just this week that Guilty Eats reported about not one but two new sandwiches that Burger King is offering in other parts of the world but not in the United States. And it would seem that now Arby’s, holder of the meats, has decided to go the same route.
In this case, it’s not a new sandwich but a returning favorite to Canadian Arby’s menus that has fans north of the border getting excited. And once we explain what exactly an Arbynator is, you’re going to have no issue understanding what all the hubbub is about.
The Arbynator is only available at Arby’s in Canada until the end of the year.
Much like the Franken Whopper that we won’t shut up about because it sounded so freakin’ delicious, the Arbynator speaks to everything we love about fast food. It isn’t healthy and it sure isn’t part of any diet we’ve ever heard of, but it looks amazing.
The Arbynator includes Arby’s iconic roast beef topped with cheddar cheese sauce, horsey sauce and, get ready for this, curly fries all on a sesame seed bun. Yes, the Arbynator is a roast beef sandwich with curly fries right on it.
How can anyone in their right mind not want to try one of these?
Unfortunately, if you live in the United States you’re going to have to deal with disappointment. Because the sandwich is only available at Arby’s locations in Canada and only until the end of December.
Of course, it looks so good that we may be checking to make sure our passport is valid.
It would seem like a no brainer to bring the Arbynator to America since we would devour this sandwich and go back for more. Hopefully Arby’s will see the error of their ways and bring it southward to these shores.
