Red Lobster: Here’s what they are doing for Thanksgiving 2023

Forget the turkey this Thanksgiving, we are thinking about a Red Lobster holiday. Of course, this means we need to know if they happen to be open. And if they are open, we need to know exactly what the menu looks like.

According to a press email that we received from red lobster, not only will the restaurant be open on Thanksgiving day for dine in, but they will also be doing to go orders. That being said, each location will be operating with special holiday hours, so you may want to check with your location to confirm their hours of operation on November 23.

If you happen to be enjoying Thanksgiving as a party of six or more people, it is recommended that you make a reservation online at redlobster.com. You can also call your local restaurant to book a reservation, especially if you have a larger party.

For a limited time, guests of Red Lobster can enjoy their new Lobster & Shrimp Celebration. This menu includes three new items that will absolutely make celebrating the holidays a special occasion. On top of that, there is also a side dish that fans of red lobster may already be familiar with, even though it’s not been on the menu before now.

The holiday menu includes:

"NEW Lobster & Shrimp Holiday Feast – Tender Maine lobster tail meat and shrimp in an orange-rosemary holiday sauce. Served with mashed potatoes, NEW Cheddar Bay Stuffing, and choice of one side.NEW Lobster & Cheddar Bay-Stuffed Shrimp – A roasted Maine lobster tail paired with shrimp topped with a savory brioche, Cheddar Bay, bacon, and mushroom stuffing. Served with choice of two sides.NEW Lobster & Shrimp Overboard – A roasted Maine lobster tail, lobster and shrimp linguini, and a grilled shrimp skewer. Served with choice of two sides."

So what exactly is the side dish that we were talking about? That would be their new Cheddar Bay Stuffing. This is red lobster’s take on a more traditional Thanksgiving side. And if you are a fan of the company, you may already be familiar with this recipe (or at least a version of it), as this is something they have shared in the past for people looking to elevate their holiday side dishes. Personally, we are excited about the fact that they have added their cheddar Bay stuffing to the menu, even if it is only for a limited time.

Of course, the menu also includes some limited edition, seasonal cocktails that you can enjoy starting now. While these might seem a bit more in line with Christmas, they are also perfect for your Thanksgiving dinner at Red Lobster.
