Get festive with Ghirardelli and their Peppermint Bark squares

During the holiday season, there is one flavor profile that we can’t resist and that would be peppermint and chocolate. And Ghirardelli knows that!

So is it any wonder that not only are Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Squares back for another season of spoiling us, but there are two new additions to the lineup as well? We are always on the hunt for a good peppermint bark and as fans of Ghirardelli, we know that they deliver on quality and flavor. This means that as soon as these hit stores, we need them in our lives.

Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Squares are a great holiday treat and a perfect addition to baking and snack mixes

Not only are the peppermint bark squares a great stocking stuffer or addition to a gift, but we love adding them to our baking and snack making. Now that the brand has released their new baking mix ins, we don’t have to crush up a bunch of squares for our baked goods which is always nice, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be crushing up some squares for other things.

We really enjoy making a more festive snack mix with things like Chex cereal and broken pieces of the peppermint bark squares included. It adds a little something fun to the holiday season and it is super easy to do.

One of our favorite holiday snack mixes features Chex cereal, mini pretzels, and mini shortbread cookies that have been tossed with some melted chocolate and holiday colored sprinkles (sometimes the sprinkles don’t make the cut, but they do add that festive touch). Then once the Chex, pretzels, and shortbread are covered in a little chocolate (or completely coated), we add in broken pieces of Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Squares, broken pieces of their classic milk chocolate squares, and sometimes we even break up their sugar cookie chocolate squares. It makes a great movie night snack!

Honestly, you can never go wrong with anything from Ghirardelli and we are definitely on the hunt for their holiday goodies! From gift giving to snacking and baking, these chocolates are always a delight.
