It’s always fun when we get to report on the return of a fan favorite menu item and it isn’t only available in Guam or Canada or Japan. Yep, for once we get to talk about the fine folks at Taco Bell brining back a popular item right here in the U.S.A.
Of course, Taco Bell has always been pretty good about that kind of thing. Sure, they test menu items constantly that you can only try if you live in Chicago or Nashville, but at least they’re located here. You don’t have to book a flight overseas to try them.
No, in this case it’s time for the American fans of The Bell to get worked up. Because they have announced the return of one of their more popular items. One that gives you double dose of everything you adore about tacos.
That’s right. The Double Decker Taco is back.
The Double Decker Taco will only be available at Taco Bell for a limited time.
For those that might not remember, the Double Decker Taco includes a flour tortilla that has been covered with beans and then wrapped around a taco shell that has been filled with beef, lettuce and cheddar cheese.
In other words, a taco that has been upgraded to something doubly new and delicious.
If that’s not good enough for you, Taco Bell is also bringing back the Double Decker Taco Supreme. What makes it supreme? Well, take a Crunchy Taco Supreme and plant it in a bed of refried beans and put all that on a warm flour tortilla.
The Double Decker Taco will set you back $2.99 while the Double Decker Taco Supreme costs $3.69. Which means you can walk in with a five dollar bill and come out with change. Not to shabby folks. But get them while you can because both are only back for a limited time.
