To say I'm a fan of Delimex would be an understatement. Since the brand became a part of the Kraft Heinz family, I've loved every item I've tried, especially the taquitos.
Now, the brand is expanding even further with the release of its new Crispy Quesadillas. Coming in two delicious flavors, these are sure to be a staple in many households. The two flavors we're getting are Chipotle Chicken and Char-Grilled Chicken. No matter which one you pick, you're sure to be pleased.
The press release goes into a bit more detail about why Delimex chose to go this route, and it honestly makes a ton of sense: "Quesadillas are one of the most beloved menu items in American restaurants today, and many people want to enjoy them at home without the hassle of cooking from scratch. However, most are dissatisfied with the current quesadilla offerings in the frozen aisle, citing soggy tortillas, cheese that doesn’t melt, and lack of crunch as key pain points." All of those points are sadly relatable.
However, Delimex is looking to fix the problem by utilizing Kraft Heinz's 360CRISP technology, giving you restaurant-quality quesadillas with the crunch you long for. These can be found in the frozen aisle of your favorite stores, including Walmart, Target, and Kroger.
Delimex will have you craving its new Crispy Quesadillas.
When observing frozen food offerings, no one is doing it like Delimex. The brand has so many different options, and adding quesadillas is a smart move. As someone who is a fan of both Delimex and Taco Bell, I think we all know that Delimex is the cheaper option, and you'll be able to get more. Given the price of everything, Delimex feels like the better value.
Plus, the two flavors satisfy even the pickiest of eaters because Chipotle Chicken is likely to have a kick to it while the Char-Grilled Chicken will be milder. If anything, I could see these being great if you're heating them up during your lunch break or looking for something quick to whip up as an after-school snack.
Regardless of whether you've tried Delimex's Taquitos before or not, these Crispy Quesadillas are sure to garner even more fans for the brand. Plus, you can dress them up and make some sides if you plan to have them for dinner. Add some beans, rice, a little sour cream, and maybe some guac, and you're good to go.
Ultimately, Delimex has never steered me wrong, so I'm excited to try out these Crispy Quesadillas and see if they taste as good as they look. You'll have to return to Guilty Eats to find out our thoughts!
