On February 5, Dr Pepper made an exciting announcement for fans of the brand and their unique flavors. That is because they have announced the launch of a new permanent flavor to their lineup of beverages.
The newest flavor that has been added to the family is Dr Pepper Blackberry. And not only will this flavor be available in a regular variety, but it will also be dropping as a zero sugar option. This new addition joins the classic Dr Pepper, as well as fan favorites such as Dr Pepper Cherry, and the iconic (and delicious) Dr Pepper Strawberries and Cream variety.
The exciting thing about this launch is that we are still getting the bold flavors of Dr Pepper that we know and love, but with the addition of blackberry in the mix. This means that we’re getting that little hint of fruity sweetness that is hard to resist.
Dr Pepper Blackberry is now a permanent addition to the family with a mid-February launch
According to the press email that we received about this news, fans of Dr Pepper will be able to start snagging cans of the Dr Pepper Blackberry starting in the week of February 10. It will be available in 12 packs, and for a limited time it will be available in 20 ounce bottles as well. Unfortunately, for fans of the zero sugar option, it sounds like the 20 ounce bottles will only be available for a limited amount of time (it has been reported that it will only be an option for two months).
We are actually pretty excited to give this flavor a try for ourselves. We seriously can’t wait to get our hands on a can of this new Dr Pepper Blackberry to see exactly what this fruit brings to the table in terms of flavor. After living in Texas for a number of years, I already know that Dr. Pepper is the way to go.
