Sugar Factory goes all-out for the holidays! With specially crafted menus and decorations galore, they create the perfect scene for a memorable holiday meal, as their recent Halloween menu proves.
With the winter holidays arriving, Sugar Factory has literally decked their halls for a festive night out. Once again, the restaurant has prepared a seasonal, limited-time Santa’s Wonderland menu of cocktails, food and desserts.
The drink menu includes over 10 different specialty cocktails. Several of the drinks are warm to help stave off the winter chill and are served in holiday-themed Santa, Snowman and even Penguin shaped mugs. This special menu does not have any seasonal mocktails, so the only non-alcoholic option is the hot cocoa. Of course, they have mocktails available on the regular menu year-round.
The showstopping cocktail presentation is the Christmas Cocktail Tree where guests are able to sample all four holiday martinis (the Tipsy Gingerman, All I Want for Christmas, Snow Man on Vacation and Elf on a Shelf) which are served in a specially designed tree shaped cocktail holder.
The Sugar Factory's new Santa's Wonderland menu is a festive delight!
Many of the food items have cute holiday names and come with themed garnishes or are created with holiday colors. The Xmas Sliders come on red and green mini slider buns while the Jack Frost Chicken Sliders are served on blue buns. The Winter Wonderland Pancakes are extra festive, consisting of blue buttermilk pancakes and topped with vanilla ice cream, vanilla cupcake drizzle, a blue-colored white chocolate sauce and blue sprinkles. The holiday menu has many kid-friendly options and also offers a variety of vegetarian dishes.
On a recent visit to the Sugar Factory in Times Square, I enjoyed the Santa's Sampler Platter (Cajun dusted chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, fried pickles and onion rings, although they were out of the rings and substituted mac and cheese balls). I also tried the Under the Tree Nachos. They did not skimp on the guacamole and these were very tasty! I can also recommend the Grinch Green Fettuccini, which is one of the few festive main dishes on the Santa's Wonderland Menu. The regular menu is also always available with lots of sandwiches, burgers and main dishes.
Of course, when visiting the Sugar Factory you have to save room for dessert. The Santa's Wonderland menu includes two freakshakes; The Grinch Merry Shake and the Gingerbread Cookie Shake are adorned with enough treats for two to enjoy! The Grinch Merry Shake is a green colored vanilla ice cream blended with NY cheesecake shake topped with a frosted donut and mini cake bites.
The restaurant is known for their oversized desserts that can be shared with a group. Santa’s Cafectio is a sweet beverage of hot chocolate, coffee, Nutella, marshmallows and whipped cream that is large enough to serve 3-4 guests.
The Santa’s Wonderland menu is a limited-time menu that is available at all Sugar Factory restaurants now through January 5th. Stop by your local restaurant for a festive good time!
