The campaign will take place from Monday, May 26, until Monday, September 1, as Oberweis encourages consumers to embrace summer with their delicious ice cream options of scoops, sundaes, frostbites, and milkshakes. Ready and prepared for any ice cream dessert option, Oberweis is ready to be the Midwest's first stop for dessert on a hot summer night.
Oberweis currently has stores located in Chicago, Michigan, St. Louis, and Indiana. This summer, Oberweis will be opening new ice cream shops in Illinois, with the grand opening date expected to be revealed during 100 Scoops of Summer.
What Is 100 Scoops of Summer?
100 Scoops of Summer is about Oberweis revealing new and exciting things to its customers, which include new flavors, giveaways, contests, special events, and menu options. Oberweis is even dedicating itself to neighborhoods by acting as an ice cream vendor at the Winnetka Music Festival, North Aurora Days, and more.
The Scoop Stakes is another exciting event that Oberweis will be hosting. The Scoop Stakes will find one winner to receive the Golden Cone, which sees one person per store being chosen each month to win a year's worth of Oberweis ice cream, and one grand prize winner to receive 100 scoops of Ice Cream.
Other exciting promotions for 100 Scoops of Summer include various ice cream-themed contests and events throughout the summer. Events to look forward to include Sundae Mondays, Freeze This Moment, Pup Cups, Summer Solstice Shades, Father's Day Savings, Red, White and Scoop, Scoops of Hope, and Dog Days of Summer. Each event celebrates a different summer-themed activity, from National Children's Day to social media excitement surrounding the Scoop Stakes when using the hashtag #OberweisSummer, to the Fourth of July and National Ice Cream Day.
