While we might "love that chicken from Popeyes," there is no denying that they also seem to understand how to make some delicious seafood as well. And now that Lent is upon us, that means that more people are going to be looking for seafood options at the restaurants they prefer. Luckily for us, just in time for the arrival of Lent, Popeyes is giving us two seafood options on the menu.
These two seafood options are returning fan favorites, specifically their Shrimp Tacklebox and the Flounder Fish Sandwich. Both of these items have a price tag of $5.99 each, although prices may vary based on the Popeyes location. Honestly, that feels like a bit of a steal if you think about it.
What's on the menu at Popeyes for Lent 2025?

For anyone unfamiliar with these two menu items, we have you covered. The Shrimp Tacklebox features eight pieces of butterfly shrimp that have been breaded in the seasonings and spices that we are familiar with on their chicken. Those eight shrimp come with a biscuit and one side. That’s an amazing deal for a meal.
Then we have the Flounder Fish Sandwich, which is exactly that. This is a flounder fillet that has also been coated and fried in their classic seasonings and it’s then served on a brioche bun. They also include pickles and your choice of either a spicy sauce or a classic tartar sauce.
Both of these options are perfect for a quick meal on the go, when you don’t want to have to cook on a Friday night. The fact that these are available all week long is the chef’s kiss of it all, as you can enjoy both of these seafood items any day of the week through April 17.
As a fan of Popeyes, I love that they brought back the Shrimp Tacklebox. That is a favorite in this household. But, there’s no denying that that Flounder Fish Sandwich is also a winner. No matter which one you choose, you will not be disappointed.
