Domino’s is half off, all week long – the price, not the amount of pizza

Domino’s Pizza is running a pretty wild deal this week: 50% off all menu-priced pizzas. All week long. Why are they doing this? Because, why not?

“The first day of summer is June 20, but you don’t have to wait to celebrate,” said Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president – chief brand officer, via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. “Start the festivities early by trying our newest crust – New York Style. It is made with fresh, never frozen dough, stretched thin and cut into six big, foldable, cheesy slices. At half off, it’s an incredible value and perfect for summer pool and backyard parties.”

As Trumbull points out, at least part of the reason for this deal is the launch of the new New York Style pizza, which hit stores back in April. While as a New Yorker myself I might quibble a little bit with how New York this really is, the slices are larger and foldable, and you can definitely shout “ay, I’m walkin’ here!” while eating a piece of this pizza. Mild spoiler: you can also do that with a regular slice of Domino’s pizza, but it’s just not as much fun.

Back to the deal, it’s 50% off on all “menu-priced pizzas” from June 3 (that’s today) through June 9 (that’s this upcoming Sunday). You do need to order online or in the app, versus in person at the store, but otherwise, go hog wild… This isn’t limited by crust type or size. The brand also notes they currently offer four crust types, in addition to the New York Style pie: hand-tossed, handmade pan, crunchy thin crust, and gluten-free.

Shouts to Domino’s for offering a gluten-free option by the way. I partake of the gluten myself, but always appreciate when a bread-heavy brand takes things in another direction. Options are good!
