The award-winning restaurant and steakhouse Firebirds introduces its new Chef's features seasonal menu. This new menu is a must-try with a new seasonal starter, five entrees, one seasonal dessert, and a cotton candy-based seasonal cocktail. As one of the fortunate few invited to sample this culinary extravaganza at the Murfreesboro, TN, location, I can attest that this experience is not to be missed! But hurry, it's a limited-time affair only until February 29th

The Starter

The best way to start lunch or dinner is always with a salad. Firebirds' Signature Wedge Salad features crisp iceberg lettuce forming the perfect base. Topped with applewood smoked bacon tomatoes, and crunchy onion rings providing a satisfying texture. But the real star of the show? Candied bacon, adding a delightful sweetness to every bite. Drizzled with creamy bleu cheese dressing, this salad is a harmonious blend of savory and sweet, making it an irresistible choice for salad lovers.

Lunch Entrees: Elevate Your Midday Dining Experience!

Another yummy salad on the menu, but it's not the starter; it's one of the main entrees! During my sampling experience, I enjoyed diving into the Crab Cake Salad. While the jumbo lump crab cakes were delicious, what stood out for me was the salad dressed with black bean corn salsa. The unexpected combination exceeded my expectations. Crisp tortilla strips add a satisfying crunch, perfectly complemented by the smoky kick of chipotle ranch dressing. Priced at $23.95 and available exclusively for lunch, this exquisite salad elevates your dining experience to new heights.

Shaved Roast Beef Grilled Cheese is a twist on a comforting classic elevated to new heights. Another meal I got to sample was the Honey Garlic Glazed Grilled Salmon. With each bite, you could taste the freshness of the salmon as if it was just plucked from the water moments ago. Perfectly grilled with a yummy honey garlic glaze that made my tastebuds dance with its sweet and savory notes. Accompanied by seasonal grains, pilaf and topped with charred corn salsa for a refreshing burst of brightness. Unlike the Shaved Roast Beef Grilled Cheese and Crab Cake Salad, this meal is available all day.

My favorite part of the meal! Out of all I sampled, the Caramel Pecan Bread Pudding is my favorite! An irresistible delight, each spoonful of warm, decadent bread pudding melts in your mouth, complemented by a luscious drizzle of caramel sauce, cinnamon crisps, and a scoop of velvety vanilla bean ice cream. Despite feeling pleasantly full, I couldn't let all the deliciousness go to waste.

Must have a nice cocktail to go with your meal? Celebrate love all year round. Valentine's Day may be over, but that doesn't mean you still can't enjoy the "Melt My Heart" Cocktail. Crafted with Grey Goose Vodka, Tuaca, and lemon juice poured over strawberry cotton candy. Beware, for this cocktail packs a punch, with strength embodied in every sip.
