Did you know that July is National Ice Cream Month? It’s true. And so it is your sworn civic duty to eat as much ice cream as humanly possible (though not the kind potentially infected with listeria). And to help you out with your pledging allegiance to the cone or cup of sweet treats, Wendy’s is here with a free Frosty deal, all week long.

In order to snag a free small Frosty this week, through July 7, 2024, all you have to do is make a $5 purchase in the Wendy’s app. That’s it! That’s the whole thing!

And in fact, if you want to take advantage of this deal, there’s probably no better way to do so than with the Wendy’s $5 Biggie Bag. Last month, the brand launched a promo that you could get a free Frosty with any Biggie Bag purchase. That ran out on June 30, but now you can get a free Frosty with any $5 purchase – so why not keep the Biggie Bag party going?

As we broke down when we compared Wendy’s $5 Biggie Bag to McDonald’s $5 meal, Burger King and more, it’s a pretty good deal. You get either a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger or a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, a 4-piece chicken nuggets, a Jr. fries, and a small soft drink. Now, you can add a Frosty into the mix – literally, if you want. Everyone knows you dip your fries in the Frosty, that’s just a given.

If that wasn’t enough incentive to pick up a classic chocolate Frosty or the new Triple Berry Frosty, there’s also another deal you can take advantage of; albeit not in the Wendy’s app. From July 4 through July 10, if you’re a member of Dashpass on DoorDash, you can get $10 off an order of $20 or more when you purchase the new Wendy’s Saucy Nuggs. While you won’t get a free Frosty off that deal, why not spend your $10 back on a Biggie Bag and free Frosty, as well? Nobody is stopping you from eating Wendy’s three meals a day, other than your cardiologist! And what does she know? Probably not that Frostys are free right now, in which case she’d give you a smile and a big thumbs up.

After all, it’s National Ice Cream Month, which is basically like The Purge but for ice cream: no rules!
