Back to school is in full swing and that means finding a new normal for a lot of us. Whether that means figuring out how to do breakfast on the run, planning the perfect lunches, or even figuring out what snacks to have on hand after school, there is a lot to consider when it comes to eating. Luckily for us, Tillamook Cream Cheese is always the right answer.

Recently we had the opportunity to try all five flavors of Cream Cheese Spread from Tillamook and it was an amazing experience. But at the same time, we are always looking for inspiration when it comes to ways to enjoy our cream cheese. (Besides making cheesecake, I love making asparagus coated in cream cheese and wrapped in prosciutto that is baked to crispy perfection.)

It turns out that Gaby Dalkin, who is the content creator behind @whatsgabycookin on Instagram and a cookbook author, had some suggestions for us.

Gaby Dalkin shares with Guilty Eats her back to school suggestions for how to add Tillamook Cream Cheese to a variety of snacks and meals

As a mom, Dalkin understands that kids know what they like and how they like it when it comes to snacks and lunch. And that is definitely a consideration when it comes to her suggestions for how to incorporate cream cheese into back to school snacking and beyond.

"Okay obviously I’m going to say on a bagel because we’re BIG bagel fans, but also…
We do a tortilla cream cheese roll up as a snack for our daughter, Poppy! These work well with any flavored spread, too!
When we’re making eggs in the morning, I like to mix a spoonful into scrambled eggs to make them extra fluffy and add a bit of flavor.
You can also use it to make a soup creamy. Super easy way to uplevel a canned soup.
Another Poppy favorite – we add the Original Cream Cheese Spread to risotto to give it a creamy consistency"

Bagels and cream cheese are a definite classic, so we love that reminder. And we love the cream cheese rolled up in tortillas as well. We sometimes do that will a salty meat like ham or prosciutto as a bit of an afternoon pick-me-up. Honestly, all of these suggestions sound good, and they are a reminder that cream cheese can be a really versatile ingredient to have on hand.
