Joel McHale announces the introduction of Mac-A-Roni
If you haven't been living under a rock, you've like heard about one of the Ronis. Rice-A-Roni and Pasta-A-Roni are well-known. Well, a new member is being added to the family and it comes in to form of Mac-A-Roni. Ok, yes, technically still a pasta, but also still!
And who was the person they got to introduce this new addition? Joel McHale, obviously! He is their Chief Mac-A-Roni Officer and has become a bit of a food person since hosting Crime Scene Kitchen and being a grade A...you know what on The Bear. So, while they didn't get a chef as their spokesperson, Joel is not that far off.
But let's get to the most important part: the pasta! The new Mac-A-Roni comes in two different flavors: Creamy Cheddar and Creamy White Cheddar. Are these the most unique flavors? No, but when you are just starting out with a new product, you stick to the classics. You don't start with jalapeno bacon mac and cheese (please don't do this).
Joel McHale introduces us all to Mac-A-Roni
This new addition to this product family also means mac and cheese got a lot easier to make as a side dish for dinner. Yes, there is Kraft, but that doesn't hold the same level of "this is for dinner" as Rice-a-Roni, Pasta-A-Roni, and now Mac-A-Roni do. At least for me, unless I was like eight years old, mac and cheese from a box wasn't a side dish. Rice-A-Roni always was.
You can find Mac-A-Roni already in stores, so now is the perfect time to try it and see if it lives up to the hype. And if you are in NYC on Thursday, Sept 26, 2024, you can check out the Mac-A-Roni Experience! You'll likely get to try the new pasta dish and see the one and only Joel McHale. He even gave the keynote address, which you can watch below:
