Lamorne Morris and Mike's Hard Lemonade bring Mike’s Jobstacle Course to life

There are certain duos that just go together like peanut butter and jelly, Lamorne Morris and Mike's Hard Lemonade. Wait, that's not how the signing say but on August 20th, it couldn't be truer.

Mike's Lemonade is teaming up with Lamorne Morris for the launch of Mike's Jobstacle Course. If you're going to be in New York City on August 20th, you're in luck as it's going to be taking place from 2 pm to 8 pm at 477 Broadway, New York, New York 10013. For those 21+, this feels like the perfect way to kiss summer goodbye and loads of fun.

When looking at name, you might be wondering what a Jobstacle Course is and as shared via the brand: "Participants (21+ only) will get a taste of various deceptively challenging jobs, proving that while the grass may seem greener on the other side, every job has its own laughably tough moments. From predicting the weather as a weatherperson to locating books as you navigate a maze of shelves as a bookseller, these comically hard tasks will highlight that any day can be a hard day and there's no better way to reward those hard-earned efforts than with a delicious Mike’s Hard Lemonade." I don't know about you, but that sounds like a fun time.

With Lamorne serving as host, that's just an extra layer of fun. Speaking of fun, I was able to sit down and talk to Lamorne including his favorite flavor of Mike's Hard Lemonade, New Girl and he even gave his Olympic hot takes.

Lamorne Morris talks his Mike's Hard Lemonade partnership and more.

Let me start by saying that I was in full fangirl mode while talking to Lamorne and he didn't make me feel like I was being too much. As a fan of New Girl, this was basically a dream come true and being able to talk about his partnership along with asking some pop culture questions made the interview the most fun one I've ever done.

One of the first questions I asked Lamorne was if he has a favorite Mike's Hard Lemonade and he shared that his favorite drink is lemonade so it's basically a partnership made in heaven. While his personal favorite is the Original Hard Lemonade, he made sure to say that you can "ease yourself into other flavors" but with lemonade being his drink of choice, it's an obvious choice. Plus it's in the name so why not start there?

The other major question I had for Lamorne was if he'd be attempting the Mike's Jobstacle Course and he shared that he's definitely going to try it. Then he promptly invited me so we're still holding on to see if I can swing it, but if you're closer and can attend, it's sure to be a blast. Plus there's going to be MIke's Hard Lemonade aplenty so why not show up if you can?

While more pop culture related, I got to ask Lamorne which of his characters would be having a Brat Summer and he shared that it has to be Winston. He made sure to note that Winston is in touch and his favorite color's green, not that Winston knows what the color green is. Either way, his answer to that question made me laugh and was worth a mention.

Lastly, I asked Lamorne if he had any hot takes about the Olympics and his major hot take? He's a little miffed that he wasn't invited there. I mean for goodness sakes, that man played a basketball player on TV, he should be there. Even so, this interview with Lamorne Morris proved to me that he's ever bit as cool as a frosty bottle of Mike's Hard Lemonade so what's not to love?
