Just a few weeks after declaring Mountain Time as the official time zone of the soft drink, Mountain Dew is back with a new mystery flavor that is sure to get people in the mood for the season of spookiness that is right around the corner.
Available in stores across the country now is Mountain Dew Voo-Dew, which will return once again for the sixth straight year. The soda will come in zero sugar or regular while being found in 20oz. Bottles or 12oz. 12-packs. And like the prior years, the flavor will be a mystery, just like many of the enigmatic elements of spooky season.
Also, if you're a frozen drink fan, you're in luck. For the first time ever, Mountain Dew is partnering with Circle K to give fans a Froster version of Mountain Dew Voo-Dew. Those interested will also have the ability to purchase a special cup for $7.99 that features a glow-in-the-dark lid.
A welcomed return by Mountain Dew fans
As mentioned above, this is the sixth year of the mystery flavor concept, prompting many fans to be excited to determine the flavor. In prior years, flavors have included candy corn, fruit candy explosion, fruit candy chews, sour candy, and Cherry Airheads, meaning it will likely be some sort of candy. Leading many to ask the question, what would that candy be if Mountain Dew goes that route?
While we don't know what it is just yet, one thing that is a certainty is that a dentist appointment is likely needed after drinking the sugary concoction that is Mountain Dew. Also, I'm not sure about drinking candy-flavored soda.
That said, are you ready to find out what the latest Mountain Dew Voo-Dew flavor is? Are you excited to try this new creation? Is this something found in your fridge during the fall?
