MTN Dew celebrates infinite freedom with two exclusive new flavors
If you’re a fan of MTN Dew, then you already know this is Hot MTN Dew Summer. And to be clear, we mean “hot” as in “awesome” not as in “time to boil the MTN Dew.” But things are about to get even hotter as 7-Eleven and MTN Dew are teaming up for two new flavors that are sure to bring “infinite freedom” to your summer: MTN Dew Infinite Swirl; and a MTN Dew Freedom Fusion Slurpee.
"7-Eleven and MTN DEW both share a passion for innovation and this summer we're giving fans not one – but TWO bold new flavors to add to their roster of favorite drinks," said Dennis Phelps, Senior Vice President of Merchandising (Vault & Proprietary Beverages) at 7-Eleven, Inc. via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. "These are a perfect summer addition to our beverage vault and Slurpee machine and we can't wait for fans to give them a try."
First of all, shout out to Dennis Phelps, who might have the longest job title I’ve ever seen. No shade, because he’s clearly doing a great job, but I wonder if he introduces himself with his full title at barbecues. Or maybe when someone asks him what he does he says “Oh, I’m Senior Vice President of Merchandising at 7-Eleven, Inc.” and then the person talking to him says “Wait, I thought Samantha Kipslinger was Senior Vice President of Merchandising at 7-Eleven, Inc.” and Dennis – we’re on a first name basis now – says “Yes, sorry about that, Samantha Kipslinger is Senior Vice President of Merchandising (Locker & Open Source Beverages) at 7-Eleven, Inc, my job is Senior Vice President of Merchandising (Vault & Proprietary Beverages) at 7-Eleven, Inc.” And then the person who was asking this says “Actually, I need to go… Over there.”
By the way, I made up the name Samantha Kipslinger and her job, just for the sake of clarity. What’s that you say? You would like to read about the MTN Dew flavors instead of whatever this nonsense is? Duly noted.
MTN Dew Infinite Swirl is a combo of pineapple and berry, aka tropical punch flavored, and is colored blue. It’s available in 20-ounce bottles, and right now you can snag two bottles for only $4.
Meanwhile, MTN Dew Freedom Fusion Slurpee Drink is a lemonade peach-flavored Slurpee, and comes in a “frosty white color.” It’s in stores on June 26, 2024, though I will note that 7-Eleven recently added a Peach Candy Lemonade flavor, so I’m curious to see what the difference is. Yes, I will force myself to drink two similar Slurpees. Not all heroes wear capes.
The new MTN Dew flavors will only be available at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes through the end of the year, so snag ‘em now before Dennis Phelps sticks them back in the MTN Dew Vault.
