As we enter the final stages of July, it feels like the season of celebration for chicken. This past Saturday was National Chicken Finger Day, and now it is time to celebrate another poultry-related holiday -- National Chicken Wing Day.

Since its origin in 1977 by the former mayor of Buffalo Stan Makowski, July 29 has been a day to celebrate the crunchy goodness that comes with each bite of a chicken wing. But that's enough of a history lesson -- it's time to get to the places where you can save money on the American delicacy.

Today, the company will offer a buy one, get one deal on their classic and boneless wings, meaning if you order a 5-piece traditional, you will get a 5-piece free. And if you order an 8-piece boneless, you will get an additional 8-piece for free.

Applebee's

If you order online or through the Applebee's mobile app, you can buy one order of boneless or traditional wings and get a second one for free using promo code WINGDAY24.
