4 Panda Express beverages perfect for beating the heat this summer

With the summer season temperatures quickly approaching, I thought I’d get a headstart on finding the best, most delicious beverages to cool off to. That way, when summer is in full swing, you’re all set! No need to thank me, it was a refreshing task. My first stop? Panda Express! 

I most recently stopped by my local Panda to order its new Hot Orange Chicken, a spicy take on the chain’s popular Orange Chicken. Though the spice level was not enough to scare my tastebuds, I enjoyed having drink options at the ready! Provided by Panda Express, I gulped down Panda’s Pomegranate Pineapple Flavored Lemonade, the Mango Guava Flavored Tea, Watermelon Flavored Refresher, and the Peach Lychee Flavored Refresher. 

In short, all four drinks get the job done. The beverages please with bold flavors while also quenching your thirst. Some do this better than others, and I envisioned the best time and setting to enjoy each. I’ll get into all of the details below, but first, here’s my ranking:

Pomegranate Pineapple Flavored Lemonade 

This sip will quench your thirst with each zesty gulp. I did feel that the pineapple and pomegranate flavors fight for dominance, and the pomegranate wins every time. Personally, I find pineapple to be a more refreshing, summer taste, so I do wish this drink was instead a Pineapple Flavored Lemonade. Still, it’s a very tasty bev!

Peach Lychee Flavored Refresher 

Who doesn’t love peach? It’s enjoyable year-round, but one of the top summer cravings right along with pineapple and watermelon. The Peach Lychee Flavored Refresher does what it promises, refreshes! I can see this drink pairing perfectly with almost anything, but I’d love to sip this while enjoying a salad. 

Mango Guava Flavored Tea 

One thing to know about me is that I love a good tea! Give me a sweet iced tea at any time of the day and I won’t refuse it! When I saw the Mango Guava Flavored Tea on Panda’s menu, I knew it would be a favorite and I was not wrong. This drink also paired wonderfully with the Hot Orange Chicken. If you have a big meal ahead, get a Mango Guava Flavored Tea to go along with it. I would also recommend sipping on one of these while working or focusing on a task. 

Watermelon Mango Flavored Refresher 

Watermelon? Sold. With Mango? I heart you, Panda Express! This is the best of both summer flavors! Unlike the Pomegranate Pineapple Flavored Lemonade, the watermelon and mango in this refresher don’t fight to win you over, working together instead to please and quench. With some sips, you get a watermelon blast and others a mango punch, and some give you a sweet combination of both. Whatever you may get, you can’t go wrong with it! Get the Watermelon Mango Flavored Refresher if you’re going on a long drive or spending time outdoors, it’s a quench queen.
