Somebody Feed Phil Season 7 arrives on Netflix March 1
By D. Goodman
If you are a regular reader of Guilty Eats then you know just how much we enjoy and look forward to Somebody Feed Phil. The Netflix reality series sees Phil Rosenthal, creator of Everybody Loves Raymond, travel around the world trying new foods and living new experiences.
The series got its start as I'll Have What Phil's Having, which was essentially the same show as Somebody Feed Phil but it aired on PBS instead of Netflix. Regardless, the series has always been incredibly entertaining and fun to watch.
Which is why when it was announced in January of last year that the series had been renewed for a seventh season, there were a lot of very happy fans. And now, thanks to a new trailer, we know exactly when Season 7 will make its debut on Netflix.
Somebody Feed Phil Season 7 includes eight brand new episodes and locations.
Somebody Feed Phil Season 7 will arrive on Netflix on March 1. It will include eight new episodes, which is two more than the previous season, and eight all new locations.
For Season 7, the series is heading to Mumbai, Washington, D.C., Kyoto, Iceland, Dubai, Orlando, Taipei and Scotland. Each episode will include guest stars and friends of Rosenthal's, including his wife and children.
The arrival of the new season of Somebody Feed Phil is timed to coincide with the release of his new book Just Try It!. It is a children’s book about food that is co-written by Rosenthal and his daughter, Lily. The book is scheduled to be published on March 5.
A companion book to the series, Somebody Feed Phil: The Book was published last October and was a bestseller. We here at Guilty Eats thought it was a "poignant companion to what was already a pretty great television series."
All eight episodes of Somebody Feed Phil Season 7 arrive on Netflix March 1.
