Sonic kicks off summer early with a new burger and the Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float

Summer is starting early, folks! From tasty, fresh bites to refreshing drinks, our favorite fast food chains have begun rolling out some great summer eats! One brand who is never one to fall behind trends or seasonal menus, is Sonic Drive-In. Need a new drink and burger this summer? Check and check!

Above all else, Sonic is known for its seemingly endless beverage flavors. We're talking Sonic's iconic Slushes, soft drink combination, Lemonades and Limeades varieties, shakes, and more! If you are thirsty, Sonic Drive-In is the place you want to go to. And don't get me wrong, the chain has plenty of treats to offer (the tater tots and mozzarella sticks are two personal favorites!), but when it comes to refreshing drinks, Sonic is King. And as if they didn't have enough option to select from, Sonic will add the Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float on May 6.

There's something about orange flavors that take us back to our childhood. This is why I'm super excited to try the chain's Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float. Knowing Sonic's rep for delicious and refreshing beverages, I know I'm going to love this one. Once I try it out, I'll be sure to share my review with you! But don't wait too long to try it! The Sonic Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float is only here for a limited time, May 6 through June 30.

A super cheesy, bacon-packed burger will also appear on the Sonic menu beginning May 6, but this burger is here to stay! That's right, the Cheesy Bacon Sonic Stack will be a permanent addition to the Sonic burger menu. This new burger features a seasoned all-beef patty, crispy bacon, two slices of melty American cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mayo all hugged by two thick slices of Texas Toast. And if that's not enough for you, because no season makes you hungrier than summer, try the Cheesy Bacon SuperSonic Stack, which raises the stakes with two all-beef patties.

Don't forget, these new menu items join Sonic Drive-In on May 6, with the Cheesy Bacon Sonic Stack becoming part of the permanent menu and the Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float only here until June 30.
