Starbucks likes it hot with new Spicy Lemonade Refreshers and Spicy Cream Cold Foam

Last week, we brought you the news that Starbucks’ Lavender menu was officially embracing Lavender Lemonade after the TikTok trend. Well, now, the chain is going in the opposite direction with a line of spicy/sweet beverages tackling the “swicy” trend. Yep, you guessed it (or not): Spicy Lemonade Refreshers, and Spicy Cream Cold Foam.

How hot are things about to get at Starbucks? The whole thing is powered by Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend, which sounds like a mouth-sizzling burst of heat. However, you’ve got the sweetness of the lemonade, or the cream of the Cold Foam to cut through the spice – we assume.

The spicy lemonade comes in three varieties: Spicy Dragonfruit, Spicy Pineapple, and Spicy Strawberry. Meanwhile, the Spicy Cream Cold Foam is exactly how it sounds: cold foam, blended with the Spicy Chili Powder Blend.

Here’s how Starbucks describes the Spicy Lemonade Refreshers flavors further, via info provided to Guilty Eats:

Spicy Dragonfruit combines sweet flavors of mango and exotic dragonfruit shaken with ice, real dragonfruit pieces, zesty lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend.   

Spicy Pineapple features flavors of pineapple and passionfruit shaken with ice, real pineapple pieces, zesty lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend.   

Spicy Strawberry brings together sweet flavors of strawberry and acai shaken with ice, real strawberry pieces, zesty lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend.

All four drinks will be available in Starbucks nationwide starting on Tuesday, April 16 (yes, that’s tomorrow) for a limited time this Spring. They’re aiming to make the launch a little sweeter (spicier?) on Thursday, April 18, though, with a BOGO deal for Starbucks Rewards members. Purchase any beverage of any size between 12-6 pm, and you’ll get another one free – including the new spicy bevs.
