The Best Things We Ate This Week: McDonald’s, IHOP, and more
This week was a busy one at Guilty Eats! We ran to the border to test out Taco Bell’s new Discovery Box. We eschewed delivery for Digiorno. And we drank way too much of Truly’s new Truly Tequila Soda. No slogan there, it just happened.
With a lot of reviews and views to keep track of, consider this your handy guide to everything we ate here at Guilty Eats this week. From the aforementioned treats, to McDonald’s new spicy chicken sandwich, to IHOP’s maple syrup Pepsi, and so much more. Read on to see what we thought of the foods you crave this week.

IHOP Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola And Float
After briefly popping up in cans last year, Pepsi Maple Syrup is now part of the menu at IHOP. And while the basic soda adds sweet to sweet, the ice cream float is the decadent dessert you’ll want to try.
Zack’s Mighty Rolled
The new line is aiming to take down Takis, and it just might work with two bold flavors that are both winners.
Taco Bell $5 Discovery Box
$5 for 3 tacos and a drink? This is, no question, a great deal. And not only that, you get to try the new Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco and the new Avocado Verde Salsa. The catch? It’s only available on Tuesdays for a limited time.
DIGIORNO Thin & Crispy STUFFED Crust Pizza
The brand expands with a line based on two wildly different textures. While the first one is pretty much what you expect from freezer pizza, the stuffed crust is a pretty good snack.
McDonald’s Cajun Ranch McCrispy
The burger chain continues to take Ls with their chicken sandwiches, and while this has more flavor than the Spicy McCrispy, it still doesn’t stand up to other folks who do it better.
Truly Tequila Soda
Meet your new drink of the summer – or Cinco de Mayo. The insanely refreshing new line from Truly Hard Seltzer is a winner, and as long as you’re an adult you’ll want to stock up your cooler with this one at your next BBQ.
Baskin-Robbins Marigold Dreamsicle
While the floral component of Baskin-Robbins’ Flavor of the Month for April is intriguing, it gets a little overshadowed by sweet vanilla and a ribbon of orange gel.
L’Artigiano Gelato
On the other hand, this new line of gelato out of Italy is delicious. Creamy, flavorful, and if you’re used to American Pistachio ice cream, you just might be in for the shock of your life.
