White Castle launches $5 Bacon Bundle for the bacon lovers out there (meaning, everyone)

Do you love bacon? Of course you do. I was vegetarian for 10 years, and the entire time I still craved the salty, crispy taste of bacon. It’s scientifically proven to be the number one reason people (read: me) give up being vegetarian! Anyway, if you do love bacon, and you love White Castle, we’ve got great news: the restaurant chain has just launched a can’t-be-beat $5 Bacon Bundle.

“White Castle is offering a deal that is sizzlin’ – for savings and great taste,” said Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. “There’s a simple answer to the question ‘how can you top the perfection that is a White Castle Slider?’ One word – bacon! The Bacon Bundle delivers both incredible value and a crave quotient that’s off the charts.”

Here’s the actual deal, if you’re curious. For $5, you get your choice of two Bacon Sliders and a small order of fries. That includes your choice of a Bacon Cheese Slider, the 1921 Bacon Cheese Slider, or the Chicken Bacon Ranch Slider. I can’t really figure out the math here, but it seems like you’d probably want to plunk down at least $15 so you can get two of each? That's reasonable.

A few caveats here, though. If you’re in Arizona, the bundle is a buck more at $6. And if you’re in Florida, honestly GET OUT OF HERE. Just kidding, but the bundle pricing is not available in Florida. You’re going to have to cross state lines to get the Bacon Bundle, and who knows what laws you’re breaking to do that?

If you’re not familiar with White Castle’s Bacon Sliders which, frankly, is reasonable because I have never gone to White Castle without accidentally inhaling a sack of 30 sliders and waking up the next morning regretting my life choices, only to do it again, here’s how the restaurant explains these delectable little treats.

“The 1921 Bacon Cheese Slider features hickory-smoked bacon, smoked cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and caramelized grilled onions. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Slider is the perfect combination of our Chicken Slider, topped with crispy hickory-smoked bacon and Hidden Valley Ranch sauce.”

You can snag the Bacon Bundle right now in White Castles nationwide, except in Florida, where the gators ate all of them (not scientifically accurate).
