In recent years, prebiotic drinks have gained popularity. When visiting your local grocery store, Walmart, or Whole Foods Market, you’ve likely encountered brands like Poppi or Olipop, which promote lower sugar and calorie content while packing high amounts of fiber.
Now, Simply, a brand under the Coca-Cola umbrella has joined the prebiotic trend with a lineup of its own.
Simply Pop is out now
Simply Pop, the latest innovation in the prebiotic world, is now available in select U.S. regions and nationwide via Amazon Fresh. The drink features 6 grams of prebiotic fiber, Zinc, and Vitamin C and is made with real fruit juice and no added sugar. It comes in five flavors: Pineapple Mango, Lime, Strawberry, Fruit Punch, and Citrus Punch.
Luckily, I was given a chance to try these early and found them to be quite tasty. So far, I have been able to taste the Fruit Punch and Pineapple Mango ones — both serving as a refreshing beverage option.
To add to that, if you are someone who regularly purchases Simply items or has drank them before, then you'll find the drinks to be pretty enjoyable. However, I will say that there is always the possibility that prebiotic drinks can cause gas and bloating, as they help to clean out your gut.
Overall, it is great to see that Simply continues to branch out with the brand. A few years ago, we saw them enter the alcohol world, and now the company is attempting to win people over who have hopped on the prebiotic bandwagon.
