We share the tea on Halfday Limited Edition Tropical Tea

Halfday is the 'good for your gut' iced tea flying off shelves this summer

Nothing quenches the thirst on a hot summer day like iced tea. Halfday is flooding store shelves with its assortment of flavors including the limited edition tropical tea which we had to try.

Halfday has eye-catching colorful cans that boast classic flavors, prebiotic benefits courtesy of the brand's GOODDAY Prebiotic Blend, and less sugar and carbs than classic iced teas.

The Halfday assortment, including the half & half, lemon, peach, green, raspberry, and tropical flavors, is available at local grocers, Whole Foods Market, and on Amazon.

Halfday Tropical Tea taste test

Since I had not yet tried any Halfday products, I sampled the green and peach teas along with the limited edition tropical tea. Because a variety of opinions is always better, I shared the products with friends who enjoy canned prebiotic beverages from Poppi and others.

One tester enjoyed the tropical tea. She liked the pineapple taste and appreciated the small dose of natural caffeine (35 mg) in the product which is something other prebiotics do not have.

Other testers who do not like pineapple as much did not like the pineapple-dominated flavor. Those people preferred the peach and green tea varieties. As is always the case, taste buds vary, but we can safely conclude that there is a flavor of Halfday tea for everyone.

While some quibble over the best flavor, all testers appreciated the colorful product packaging. Newer cans have the product name displayed across the top while older packaging uses a different font down the side. Testers preferred the new packaging.

Nutritional value of Halfday teas

The Halfday teas are delicious and do not taste low sugar, yet each can we tested had between three grams (peach and green) and four grams (tropical tea) per can.

Each can contains between six and eight grams of dietary fiber with the tropical and peach having six and the green tea with ginseng and honey possessing eight.

A cold can of Halfday tea is a gut-friendly nutritious option to quench the thirst on a hot summer day.
