May has arrived! The weather’s warmer and we are getting ready for the start of BBQ season and all things outdoors. There’s Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day. All of these celebrations and gatherings require good food and drinks. Fortunately, ALDI has you covered. We are sharing many of the new items coming to ALDI stores this May.
ALDI has a bunch of seasonal products that will have you covered for all of your entertaining needs. Since April 11, stores have been stocked with summer cheeses, chips and dips. They have burgers, brats and chicken skewers and lots of desserts and beverages. If your local ALDI sells alcohol, you’ll find bottles of wine and seasonal ciders, lagers, hard seltzers and more. While many products come and go each month, these select seasonal products will be available at stores all summer long, through the end of August.
ALDI always has a fun selection of frozen foods. This month they have a variety of different pizzas available. Choose from egg and chorizo breakfast pizzas, buffalo chicken or bacon cheeseburger thin crust pizzas, steak and mushroom or pork carnitas stone baked ultra thin crust pizza. They also have a BBQ pork burnt ends refrigerated pizza for only $7.99!
I’m impressed with ALDI’s bread selection this month. Lemon poppyseed or apple strudel breakfast breads, Keto friendly bagels and croissant buns are a few of the new baked goods that you can purchase in May.

End your meal with a sweet treat. Sundae Shoppe has assorted summer gelato flavors including peach cobbler, mocha cookie crumble and birthday cake. If you like variety, try a gelato flight, which includes individual cups of blood orange, coconut pineapple and chocolate gelato. The luxury Belgian cookie gift box has a variety of different cookies to please a crowd. There’s also a key lime pie in a cookie crust that looks divine.
Of course, everyone is spending more time outdoors now that the temps are more pleasant. If you enjoy outdoor activities, you will love what ALDI has in stock this month! Pickleball lovers can get a 2 player pickleball paddle set as well as skorts, athleisure dresses and bike shorts, perfect for wearing to lessons or a game.
ALDI is also selling outdoor fire pits, inflatable kayak sets and portable hammocks for other outdoor adventures. Plus, chairs, coolers, pool inflatables and so much more have hit the shelves. This month you can find almost everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors.
