What do you need to do to claim your free KFC sides?

Want free popcorn chicken? Craving some free hot wings? KFC is offering free sides in the UK. What’s the catch?

If you’re craving some free sides at KFC, you’re in luck. The chicken brand (which famously made headlines for literally running out of chicken recently) is now back in business and it looks like, in order to prove it’s not running out of chicken anytime soon, you can grab some free hot wings, popcorn chicken, or another delicious side of your choice.

What’s the catch? Well, it’s actually a small one that isn’t going to cost you a penny. Except that it’s only available in the UK.

All you need to do is sign up to the KFC app. It’s a free download from Android and Apple and when you sign up you will be instantly credited with three stamps. These three stamps usually take you three qualifying purchases to grab, so you’re getting something for absolutely nothing.

And you don’t need to purchase anything to get the free sides. Just scan in the app and you can pick whatever you want from the options.

Earn rewards afterwards

Once you’ve got the app, you can continue earning KFC rewards the usual way. When you get another four stamps (to have seven in total), you’ll get a free snack. After that, you need to collect another five to get to 11 and you’ll get £5 off a KFC purchase.

After that, you revert back to zero, so you collect three stamps for your free side and so on. It really is that simple.

KFC hasn’t said how long this freebie will be available. Get it while it’s hot…and there’s chicken!
